Welcome to the Act by Right website.
Act by Right is an accredited training programme to support young people in developing the skills for making change happen.
Act by Right was first published as a printed work book in 2004, and has been made available as a free online resource since September 2009. On this site you can browse and work through all the sections of Act by Right, with worksheets and resources available for download.
Over the coming months we will be developing this online resource to showcase more of how you can use Act by Right and to include a range of extra add-on activities. You can Register your use of Act by Right to let us know about how you are using Act by Right.
We still encourage you to purchase a copy of the full printed resource, which is produced in a flexible file, along with all the worksheets you will need for Act by Right as photocopy-ready resources.
This site is organised in the same way as the Act by Right book, in five units with an introduction. We suggest working through the Introduction and then through the units according to how you choose to use Act by Right.
Act by Right was written by Bill Badham for The National Youth Agency. It was converted for the web by Practical Participation.
